QUESTION:

I don't know much about Air vac ,central vucums , air cleaner. I am on a small disability pension. But, I have decided to add a few things to my air cleaning arsenal. Any comments, good or bad, about the above mentioned products will help me sift through the tons of reading material available. I am looking for disadvantages, things you wish were different as well as products which work well for you. Thanks in advance

ANSWER:

http://www.aircleaners.com here. Check out our website and click onto the HEPA air cleaner page. Read the page and read the two reports at the top of the page. It will give you some incite about the difference of the various brands of HEPA air cleaners that are on the market.
http://www.aircleaners.com here. Fresh air is great, but its not always a reality in the cold winter or hot summer. Not to mention that your electric bill will soar when your pushing the A/C or heat out of your home or buildings window. Yes the cheap air cleaners that you will find at Wal-Mart type dept stores will not do a great job in almost any area, but the Quality HEPA air cleaners such as the Austin Air Healthmates and the Care 2000 HEPA air cleaners will do a great job of cleaning the allergens and gasses out of the air at aprox 15-17 air exchanges per hour in a bedroom size area. Both units will still do a great job in a larger living room size area. As far as gases go both of these units use 15 lbs of activated coconut carbon in them to remove many types of gasses and odors. Special carbon blends are avalible for different kinds of applications. Vacuuming: Central vacs are the best, but the more quality HEPA filtered vacuum cleaners such as the Miele, Nilfisk ect... will also do a good job.
