Best Bagless Canister Vacuum
QUESTION: I have two dogs so my vacuum cleaner gets a good daily work-out. I now have
to replace my old vacuum, so am seeking advice on the new models. I have
been told that canister vacuums are the best (don't know why - maybe they
are better at reaching under the beds?), and it definitely has to be bagless
(and 12 amp, meaning powerful), so all suggestions on tried and true vacuums
here at the newsgroup would be most welcome
ANSWER: I LOVE my Central Vac. It's bagless, powerful, easy to use, and wouldn't
trade it in for the world.
If you are the same "AL" as Daisy of the medicinechest.com, I'm
surprised the medicinechest doesn't solve your problems, it solves every
other unrelated problem in the world. Perhaps it doesn't fix anything,
but if it makes you THINK it's fixed.. it doesn't matter!
I have a Kenmore Progressive canister vac that's 12 amps and uses
bags... it works great. I went out and got it when my Malamutes started
blowing their coats again and my old vacuum wasn't cutting it (it was a
Phantom upright vacuum, btw). Anyway, it always picks up all the hair no
problem.
