Hoover canister vacuum parts?
QUESTION: The hose assembly on our 1- year old Hoover canister vacuum has spring a
large leak and needs replacement (I've duct taped it three times -
enough!). The local Hoover repair center wants $93 for the part!
Does anyone know of an alternate source for parts such as mail order that
would be cheaper?
ANSWER: Your best bet is to try a non-hoover store where they sell replacement
parts and not just *Genuine* parts. Unless you have one of the variable
speed machines you should be able to get a new hose for about 30-60
dollars. Hope that helps you out, Try a non Hoover repair center. Many times
you can get a replacement hose rather than a genuine for much less money
