Need Sears Canister Vacuum Review
QUESTION: We recently moved into a house that has light beige carpeting.
Unfortunately, two of our cats have long, fairly fine, black hair. We
brush frequently, but there are still little congregations of cat hair
forming throughout the house.
We have an old Sears canister vacuum which does a great job of picking
up the hairs, but we'd like to find something smaller that we can use
more frequently without lugging 25 pounds around the house (and
terrifying the cats).
Can anyone recommend a good tool for (daily) collection of cat hair? In
my wildest fantasies I'm hoping someone will sing the praises of a $40
Sears carpet sweeper, but I'm more realistic than that. Any suggestions
will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
ANSWER: We have a dirt devil upright vacuum and we've been less than
happy w/its performance. It seems that we have to stop every 5
minutes and pull the hair out of the rotating brush in the
bottom of the vac. Such a pain in the rump!!!
