Which Car Vacuum Cleaner?
QUESTION: Does any make a good car vacuum that plugs into the cigarette lighter. I
have a 1999 Altima SE.
What vacuum do you recommend?
ANSWER: I personally don't like cordless or 12v plug-ins coz they aren't
strong enough. Better to run an extension cord and use attachements on
your home vac. Even better (IMHO, of course) are central vacs, which I
happen to have at home Bloody powerful, I'll tell ya. No cords to trip
over too.
I tried the Dirt Devil car vacuum. There is not enough suction to
make it an effective cleaning tool. The motorized brush works okay on
large flat surfaces like the trunk.
My suggestion is either buy a shop vac and a long extension cord or
pay the $0.50 at the car wash.
