Install Central Vacuum Prices
QUESTION: What is a fair price to install a Nutone Central vacuum system in a
house under construction? House is 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2000 square
feet. Cenrtal unit in garage with 4 inlets covering rest of house.
Installer wants $450 to rough in piping and return when house is
finished to hang central unit and install inlet covers. Installing
myself is not an option. Is $450 reasonable?

Me thinks $450 is a bit on the high side . I just had a 3 outlet installed
in an existing house (maybe somewhat more difficult than when being built) for
$100.
