QUESTION: Our central vacuum unit went on the fritz.... Vacu-Maid, model p -110...
It just clicks when turned on. I don't want to have to pay someone to fix
it if I can fix it myself.
could it be:
a) the coil type thing (or relay)? I took it in and the repair guy says it
is fine. or
b) the transformer?
c) reset button? I can't tell if it is tripped, but I by-pass it and it
still doesn't work....
d) the motor (i hope not!!)?
- any advice? I can see it being pricy to get it fixed ...
ANSWER: I don't have anything to do with these people, outside of being a repeat,
satisified customer, but a great site for info and central vacuum cleaner
