Vacuum form Model Rocket nose Cone
QUESTION: Does anyone have any tips on how to vacuum form Model Rocket nose
Cone? Thanks in advance for any info you might have.

Option 2:
Send me your mold, and I'll put it in my vac former. I've got the
technique down pretty good, and I'm looking for new challenges.
It ain't easy if you want anything with a greater than 1:1 length to
diameter ratio. I've done it by building my own "box" and using an
electrolux canister vacuum cleaner. Sheets of plastic were clamped
between masonite "frames" and heated in the oven.
Big pain in the buttocks.
Order your cones from Doug Pratt, as he has the old CMR/Howard Kuhn
machine and lots of practice making good cones for most standard tube
sizes. Look him up on the FAQ, or do a search.
