Dyson Vacuum and canister style
QUESTION: i need the help of the superior shoppers here on AF.
i need a new vacuum cleaner. my house is mostly wood floors with area
rugs, 2 carpeted rooms, and i have 3 cats. i prefer a canister
style, but i suppose i would be OK with an upright if it had a port
on the back to attach a hose. i have always used a kenmore canister style.
anyone used the dyson or the real electrolux (not the ones sold at sears;
i was told that the electroluxes sold at sears are not actually mfg'd by
electrolux)?
ANSWER: My mother recently bought a Dyson, the "Purple Animal", and swears it is the
best vacuum she has ever owned. It is suppose to be great for hardwood
floors and for picking up pet hair. I cant tell you how well it works on
either of those because my parents have berber carpet & have a poodle but
she says its great. Maybe I should borrow it because I have woodfloors & 2
dogs that you think would be bald with the amount of hair they shed!
