Dyson vacuum cleaners (DC05),
QUESTION: I've heard about Dyson vacuum cleaners (DC05), biut find that it trips
the consumer unit RCD when switching on or changing the 'suction' option via
the hand switch - not every time, but enough to be annoying.
Has anyone else noticed this?
I've had quite a lot of rewiring done in the house, and know that that side
of thing (hopefully) is OK.
Any info welcome!
ANSWER: I can't tell whether the RCD only ever trips when you're using the vacuum
cleaner but it sounds like the cleaner should probably be rejected as it's
now
developed a clear fault.
I would be interested in knowing how you go on with the replacement.
