FANTOM VACUUM CLEANER REPORT
QUESTION: The Fantom is Fantastic! We went from a bargain-basement Eureka Boss
(7.5 amps) to the 12 amp, dual motor,cyclone power Fantom. It cleans dirt
where we never knew it was hiding. Sweeps up Persian cat hair like nothing!
Before it was such a chore vacuuming over and over and over the same spots
(Eureka) and still the cat hair and debris remained behind.
Best of all, we are free from vacuum cleaner bags!! Welcome to the 21st
Century! My back will surely save wear and tear now that my vacuum time
is cut in half and with better results.
Truly, for some things, it doesn't pay to get the cheapest product.
Never again will I get a cheapo vacuum!
Thanks to all of you for your opinions on the Oreck and Fantom vacuum
cleaners. Because of your insihgts, we bought the Fantom at Costco
Warehouse for $269 (+ $20 tax, ouch!). price included an extra HEPA
filter, which swung the deal for us.
Is the $269.00 price a good deal, folks?
ANSWER: What kind of Fantom did you purchase? I have a Eureka Excalibur (over a
year old) and I am so disappointed in it. I have a cat and a golden
retriever and this vacuum just doesn't seem to pick up the pet hair and it's
also a 12amp. I'm just curious because I'm really thinking about getting
another one.
