Ge 2 Motor Canister Vacuum question
QUESTION: Our old, trusty, ancient GE canister-style vacuum cleaner
just went bellyup with 2 motor. While we're
still weighing the possiblity of getting it repaired (there still
are people out there who re-wind motors, aren't there?),
I am looking for recommendations for a new one.
Parameters:
(1) A canister style unit would be more convenient than an
upright unit for us.
(2) We have wood floors and an occasional short-pile oriental
rug; no shag or deep pile carpets; but lots of nooks and
crannies that get frequently dusty.
(3) Haven't decided on price range.
Any advice is welcome, particularly if it includes
a current model number of a unit that's turned out to
be okay.
