Nilfisk or Mighty Mite Canister Vacuum
QUESTION: I am looking for a Vacuum which will keep all the allergens in the bag. I
have been interested in the Nilfisk or Mighty Mite but I can not find a local dealer.
Does anyone have experience with these machines?

ANSWER: At those prices I'm not surprised that not a lot of people have
experience.
You might try a web search so you can do some comparison shopping.
They seem to be about what I paid for the top-of-the-line Miele (also a
HEPA model), maybe a bit more. If you do want to compare you can call Desco
Vacuum at 212-989-1800. They ship, as I shipped mine to NJ to beat the
sales tax, which would have been considerably higher than the $10 shipping.
I just stumbled on an article noting that Eureka's Mighty Mite canister
vacuum now has a true HEPA model. Not being imported from Europe, like
Nilfisk and Miele, I would expect this one to be much cheaper.
