Should I buy a Modern Day Central Vacuum
QUESTION: I build a new house and i want to install a central vacuum ( i don't
know the real translation).
it's for cleaning house (floor)
In France, i found some models:
Aldes, cyclovac, duovac but in France, thoses systems are not very
widespread.
My house has got 2 floors and 199 m .
I want to put the pump in the garage to limit noise.
Wich system is the best ?
Have you got a link with comparatives about thoses systems ?

ANSWER: We have the basic Beam w/ a similar sized house and 2 inlets on each
floor. Works well for us
You might want to look for one with a utility inlet if you are
installing it in the garage (allows use of system with out putting an
inlet in the garage wall).
Wish I knew... We bought the Beam because it was on sale at a good
price. You could try asking at: http://www.centralvacuumstores.com/
They carry a lot of different brands.
One word of warning... In the US there seems to be two different inlet
sizes. One is pretty much standard for all central vacuums and the
other is used exclusively by Vacuflo (I believe). Stick with the
standard sized outlets. If you get the Vacuflo specific outlets, only
Vacuflo manufactures tool kits that work with them. If you get the
standard sized outlets, everyone (including Vacuflo) makes tool kits
that work with them.
