Anyone have experience with Riccar Canister Vacuums?
QUESTION: Our current vacuum, a Eureka, no longer sucks. We need a new one.
My MIL recommends Miele, which is running ~$600 for a canister-style.
I want an upright, with tools on board.
So, I went to the vacuum store yesterday, and the salesperson was
strongly recommending a brand I'd never heard of - Riccar. It has
all the features I want, and a reasonable price - $350 for a 12
amp vacuum with onboard tools, a 40' cord, an all-metal agitator,
a chrome steel bottom plate, and replaceable agitator brushes.
I'm concerned about longevity. Google searches seem to be solely
indicative of sales sites, no reviews or comparisons that I could find.
Any opinions?
