RV Central Vac System In Motorhome
QUESTION: We have a RV central vacuum in the coach.
It doesn't have a powered beater bar though.
Is there one available for a motor home similar to a home unit with a
beater bar?
ANSWER: Yes ,some of the companies that make
the built in RV vacuums have beater bar attachments. They don't come
with the system, you have to order them separately
I don't know how I missed the original post. We have the Dirt Devil
central vac in our fifth wheel. The "Rug Rat" attachment does a great
job of beating the carpet. It's small, but so is our trailer. We are
very happy with it.
I have a standard Dirt Devil that has the small beater bar attachment
that attaches to the hose. Could be what Lon is talking about. This
thing runs off of the vacuume power and has a great deal of power. Has
no other power connected and will fit on any standard vacuume hose. I
use it on my shop vac for cleaning the truck, DOG has a lot of hair
droppings and it does a good job picking them up.
