TV vacum tubes - general value (if any)
QUESTION: I have some questions about TV vacum tubes
My family use to have a TV store. I have an older Sylvana(?)TV tube
caddy with many smaller tubes (seems like 100) To sell this lot is it
best to list the tube numbers? So before I go to that great effort -
is it worth it. Would it be better just to donate it to a local club? (how do I find a local club)?
ANSWER: Antique Electronic Supply will send you a list of tubes they would love to buy,
free. www.tubesandmore.com
You could sell them what they want and donate the rest to Goodwill or whoever
is closest List the numbers, and if you can, the makers (RCA, Sylvania,
International, etc.). A 12AX7 can be worth anything from $2 (Japan) to $15
RCA to $100 (Mullard 10M Master Series). Those aren't exact values, but
they're close, so hopefully you get my point People over in this forum:

will likely be interested in your tubes. The
