QUESTION: Anyone ever figured out how to open an Electrolux vacuum? The on/off
switch is broken, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get
inside the vacuum. There are no screws or clips showing on the outside
at all. Stumped!!

ANSWER: Mine, which is around 20 years old, has four screws on the top of the tank
- two in the blow hole door, one right behind the switch and one in front.
Have you got a tool caddy or something that slides on and hides the screws?
Also screws inside the lid and on bottom, rear of tank. Goodluck.
You can check in google some companies which sell this product or ask of dealer.
