Where to fined "Dustbuster Type" 12VDC Wet Dry Vac , Auto parts stores,
JC Whitney...
QUESTION: I'm looking for what I call a "Dustbuster Type" 12VDC, Wet/Dry vac.
I've only seen one of these and it was 3 years ago and they work great
for cleaning up on a boat. I haven't been able to find one anywhere.
Auto parts stores, JC Whitney, marine/camping/RV and discount stores
don't carry them. Any ideas on where I might find one?
ANSWER: I have seen these vacuum's you mention in either E7B or Boat US
catalog(s). It was in the most recent catalog(s)
I bought one last year at Canadian Tire. But somehow I don't think that will
help in NC
Genie makes a wet/dry shop vac that is a small, hand held unit. Never
tried it, but I have a freind who says it's great. I think it's a
gallon or 1.5 gal unit. Probably find it at Home Depot or such.
I have seen something similar to what you are speaking of at boat
shows. It looks like a miniature wet dry shop-vac, only it is 12vDC. I
have not seen a wet dry dust buster though. Good luck in your search.
